Angels & Airwaves is an alternative rock group created by former blink-182 and Box Car Racer guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge. The band includes David Kennedy, notably from Over My Dead Body, Hazen Street, and Box Car Racer. Also performing with the band is former Offspring drummer Atom Willard and former 30 Seconds to Mars bassist Matt Wachter. They released their debut album, We Don't Need to Whisper, in May 2006. The band recently released their second album, I-Empire on November 6, 2007. They are also releasing a documentary entitled "Start The Machine". I-Empire is the second studio album by Alternative Rock band Angels & Airwaves. It was officially released world wide for the first time on the November 1, 2007 from the Angels & Airwaves website, where it was available for download. Then it was released on CD on the November 5 in the UK and the November 6 in the USA and Canada.
