Reel Big Fish's first studio album following its split with Jive Records, MONKEYS FOR NOTHIN' AND THE CHIMPS FOR FREE finds the Orange County, California-based ska-punk ensemble cutting loose, clearly enjoying their newfound contractual freedom. Highlights of MONKEY include the celebratory "Party Down" and a revved-up version of Phil Collins's "Another Day in Paradise," songs that are significantly lighter in tone than '05's WE'RE NOT HAPPY UNLESS YOU'RE NOT HAPPY.
