Scary Kids Scaring Kids

The self-titled Scary Kids Scaring Kids second album was released on August 28, 2007, featuring the new song "Faces".

Scary Kids Scaring Kids had recently put up a picture on their Myspace saying "July 4th, 2007 it begins..." and there was much speculation as to what that may have meant. On July 4th, 2007 information about the new album as well as the new song, "Faces," were released.

It also seems as Scary Kids Scaring Kids will be releasing this album through RCA as they are currently on the label's website in the artists section.

On the sticker on the wrapping of the CD, it states that the album features "the hit singles 'Faces' and 'The Deep End'", meaning that "The Deep End" is likely to become a future single.

The album peaked at #80 on the Billboard 200.

Also, the song "Snake Devil" became a digital single on iTunes on 10/26 as well as a single of the week for that week.

Love Me Butch - Enter Posthuman

Enter Posthuman explodes out of its ambiguous shell with the brimming new metal of its first single. The start-stop vehemence of the 'The Protector', during the rapped verse clues us in on just how much emphasis the band's rhythm section (bassist Kevin Kong and skin-basher Winder Singh) places on tightness.

The album's cover theme renders itself on a vibe most akin to Chinese opera and Japanese kabuki culture. Accordingly, there's a whole song on the record dedicated in honor of such Eastern eccentricities, and it's aptly title, 'Asian Rock Anthem', but 'Never Ending Tunnel' is the true spine-tingling gem, and chances upon that rare second of sparkling, hands-to-the-sky Love Me Butch splendor.

Track listing:

  1. The Protector
  2. Never Ending Tunnel
  3. Public Enemy
  4. It's Over in Space
  5. Just Started
  6. Asian Rock Anthem
  7. 1000 Words

Don’t You Fake It - Deluxe Edition

The band, comprising Duke Kitchens, Elias Reidy, Joey Westwood, Jon Wilkes and Ronnie Winter, insists that its organic fan base blossomed through word of mouth and video channel exposure, a combination that proved to be successful on both the stage and the charts.

Don’t You Fake It, produced by David Bendeth, entered the Billboard 200 album chart at No. 25 in July 2006. Four months later, the band’s Virgin Records debut was certified gold by the RIAA.

“Face Down,” the band’s gripping hit single, gravely documents issues of domestic abuse fueled with passionate lyrics.

“That was a song personally inspired by Ronnie’s own experience with domestic violence,” said Reidy in a recent interview. “Every concept of every song is a true event that has happened to Ronnie himself, one of us, or somebody we know.”

On Feb. 1, 2007, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus will headline the sixth annual “Take Action!” tour, a two-month trek focusing on suicide prevention through awareness campaigns and partnerships with anti-suicide organizations.

It’s clear this quintet is musically talented and dedicated to issue-raising tracks — the only unclear bit is the red colored apparatus, formerly known as a jumpsuit.
